Men, we are kicking off our winter season with a fun event on October 13 from 12:30 to 2:30. This event will be held at Jerry and Donna Quist’s pond. We will be cooking out, shooting skeet, archery shooting, and 22 rifle shooting, as well as horse shoes and Baggo. We will also talk for a brief time on our plans to equip our men to be the leaders that God meant for them to be. This will be a fun event and is open to the first 40 men to respond. For more information please contact Loren Quist, Jim Winkel, or Pastor Adam.  We ask that you bring your own shot gun and ammo, your own archery equipment, and 22 shells. Targets will be provided as well as 22 rifles. It has been rumored that there will be door prizes!

Cadillac Christian Reformed Church, 1110 E Division, Cadillac
  • Opinions tend to run high about the issue of immigration, but often our shared set of facts runs low.  If we’re going to think faithfully about immigration, it’s important that we share an understanding of how immigration works today and what the Bible has to say about how we think about immigrants.
  • Church Between Borders is intended to spark thought and discussion for groups interested in engaging immigration from a Biblical perspective.  Participants will reflect on the Biblical mandate to welcome the stranger and consider what it means in our current context.  Please join us for information and discussion.  For more information, connect with Deb Heeres WexMissImmSeminar@gmail.com.

Outreach Activities
Thank you to everyone who donated school supplies during the month of September. The supplies were given to students who needed them to finish homework at home, and the rest was given to teachers to supply their classrooms. They were very humbled by your generosity!
Harvest Party: October 31st from 5-7pm. This will be our new fall outreach event to take place of treat street. We are so excited to offer a fun destination for families in our community to come hang out and get to know their neighbors! We will have hay rides, inflatable obstacle course & bounce house, face painting, food, games, petting zoo, and more. We will also have a campfire for people to enjoy and converse around! Invite all your friends, family, and neighbors. Want to be involved? See one of the Outreach Team members, or Danielle Hoekstra. Thank you!
Harvest Party needs: We need candy donations, and volunteers to decorate a spot or their trunk/truck bed for the "trunk-or-treat" part of the event! We would like at least 10 spots filled. A sign-up sheet will be on the table, and you can find all kinds of cute and fun ideas online! If you would like to donate hot dogs or hot dog buns, please see Julie Bonham. Thank you!
