A Letter from Josh and Mandy Shaarda

Dear Friends,

As we have visited churches this spring we have shared with many of you that we are applying to adopt an infant in Michigan.  Just 5 days after we completed the final step, a birth mom chose us.  The little boy we hope to adopt is due to be born in mid-July.  We are so excited.  We ask you to pray for his safe development and for the birth mom during the next couple months.

In light of this, our return to Uganda will be delayed, likely going back in November instead of July.  We only reserved our house in Hudsonville through the end of July so we are looking for a new place to live (August 1 – November.)  Please ask God to provide.  If you know of a place that is available, please let us know.  We would like to stay in Ottawa county since that is where our adoption hearing is in court.

Thanks,

Josh and Mandy
