Community Announcements & Events
  • New Hope Shelter needs your support and your presence at several Public Hearings in regard to rezoning and special use for the construction of a new homeless shelter. (All meetings are at the Cadillac City Hall at 6:00 pm)  Our next Public Hearing is Monday December 17 at Cadillac City Hall 6:00 pm.  New Hope Shelter has been serving the homeless in Wexford and Missaukee Counties for over 26 years. We currently operate out of five old houses and our hope is to consolidate our shelters; men’s, women’s and families, into one facility. Centralizing our services will help to better serve our guests in a facility that is open 24 hours. Staffing five house 24/7 is not within our financial means and currently our guests must leave during the day. We are excited to have an opportunity to be open 24/7.
