Prayers and Praises
Remember these as you pray this week:
  • Pray for Adam and Denise Hoekwater and their family as Adam suffered heart attacks on Wednesday, May 23.  We are thankful that the cause was found and he plans to return home by the weekend.  Pray for healing, patience and restored health.
  • Continue to pray for Blake Ellens, Dewey and Janette’s grandson, as he continues to heal from his heart surgery.  Pray that this little one will heal quickly and grow strong.
  • Continue to pray for Fredrica Ponstine under hospice care at Curry House.  Pray for God’s peace and grace in her life.
  • Pray for Ted Heuker, Sr. as he continues his recovery at home.
  • Pray for all those who mourn the loss of loved ones and also all those who struggle with loneliness. 
  • Remember our senior saints in their various homes and all who are limited in their daily activities due to age or illness.
  • Pray for parents, grandparents and children who are in need of special care and all those who are the caregivers.
  • Pray for all who continue to serve our country, especially Marcia Berkompas and Jessica Campbell from our church family.
Praising and Thanking God:
  • Congratulations to Jay and Michelle Frisbee in the birth of their daughter, Jaylynn Marie, born on Wednesday, May 23.  Thank God for this new little one!  Mom and baby are doing well.
  • Adam and Denise Hoekwater are very grateful for the thoughts and prayers of the congregation during this past week. 
  • We are thankful that Gert Boven has been able to return to her Harborview Apartment.  Pray for a good adjustment to living back home.
  • Thank God that Keith Buning’s hip replacement surgery went well, and he is on his way to full recovery.  Thanks for your prayers and concern!

Community Worship Service
  • Please join us for a Community Worship Service TODAY, Sunday, May 27, at 6:00 p.m. at Prosper Christian Reformed Church in Falmouth. Take your whole family! The service will include a message, congregational singing and the choir group from Northern Michigan Christian School, Noteworthy, will give a short concert.  Coffee and fellowship will follow the service. Nursery is provided.

LOVE IN THE NAME OF CHRIST Golf Outing:
Please join us for our 9th Annual Love INC Golf Outing on Saturday, June 9 at the beautiful Emerald Vale in Manton.  $75 per golfer includes 18 holes of golf, a delicious lunch and a good time.  Space is available for golfers and also for sponsorship.   If you’re interested in having fun on the course and helping our ministry reach those of our community who are in need, please call the Love INC office at 231-779-1888 for more information. 
 
 
Scramble for Life Golf Outing
Wexford/Missaukee Right to Life is sponsoring the 4th annual golf outing at the Missaukee Gold Club on Saturday, June 16th at 2pm.  Half of the money raised will be given to Life Resources of Northern MI and the other half to Wexford/Missaukee Right to Life for educational outreach. Remember these as you pray this week:
  • We express our sympathy to the family and friends of Jack Herweyer who passed away on May 11th.  May God give comfort and peace.
  • Pray for God’s comfort for the family and friends of one of our former members, Georgie Laarman, as her earthly life ended on Tuesday, May 15 in Grand Rapids.  Public graveside services will be held at the Vogel Center Cemetery on Monday, May 21 at 1:00pm with a light lunch to follow here at church.
  • Pray for Keith Buning as he will have hip replacement surgery tomorrow, May 21 in Munson Hospital – Traverse City.  Pray for successful surgery and good recovery.
  • Continue to pray for Fredrica Ponstine under hospice care at Curry House.  Pray for God’s peace and grace in her life.
  • Continue in prayer for Gert Boven at Samaritas Living Center as she rebuilds her strength.

5K Run/Walk

  • The Prosper Booster Club would like to invite you to the 6th annual 5K Run/Walk Memorial weekend ~ May 26, 2018 at 9:00am.  Pre-register by May 7, 2018 for $25.00.  All other entries will be $30.00. This is a timed down and back race through beautiful downtown Falmouth!  Medals will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male & female finishers in each age group. Resurrection Life Free Movie Night
  • Join us for our free family movie night on Friday, May 18th right here at Res Life in Cadillac. Choose from two feature films: “The Greatest Showman” or “Ferdinand”. Popcorn and beverages will be available and both shows will start at 6:00pm. Children age 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Invite your friends, family, and church congregation to join us.
5K Run/Walk

This is a timed down and back race through beautiful downtown Falmouth!  Medals will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male & female finishers in each age group.
